Top 6 Christmas Comedy Movies For Locals

Leominster and Fitchburg MA News. - A poll made by the local newspaper Sentinel and Enterprise reveals some what local residents believe are the top Christmas comedy movies. But, they miss many great classics and some new films that should be part of this list, so we decided to add them at the bottom, on a second list of films.

Here is the results from the 2010 poll or survey:

1. Elf.

2. A Christmas Story.

3. National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation.

4. Home Alone or the complete collection.

5. The Santa Clause.

6. Scrooged.


Here are comedy film they missed:

7. A Christmas Carol.

8. The Grinch (cartoon) or The Grinch with Jim Carey.

9. The Family Man.

10. Jack Frost.

11. Jingle All The Way.

12. Bad or Badder Santa.


Did I forget any good holiday film that should be added to the list? i hope not!...

2010 Thanksgiving Travel Experience Got A Boost

Fitchburg and Leominster MA News. - Last year a lot of people reported that their Thanksgiving travel experience was very bad or worse than usual. But, in 2010 look like most travelers have good time while on vacation.

Here is the result from a survey made by USA Today:

- 54% said it was as usual.

- 29% said it was better than usual.

- 9% said that is was the worst ever.

- And 8% said it was worse than usual.
