Barack Obama Is The New President of United States Of America, The Question Is, He's A President For Good Or For Problems? Read Articles From The Experts Before Election Results!

Fitchburg and Leominster MA Events News.- There are many opinions about every aspect of President Barack Obama that a lot of experts make public opinions for, here I put together some of those opinions:

Did Google Inc Donate $373,212 to Barack Obama's Campaign?
By Andy Gimpaya

At OpenSecrets.org, you find the list of top contributors to the Obama campaign. Google Inc is 6th in the list with $373,212 , behind Goldman Sachs, $627,730;University of California, $523,120; JPMorgan Chase & Co,$398,021; Citigroup Inc,$393,899; UBS AG, $378,400; and just slightly ahead of Harvard University, $369,802. Microsoft Corp donated $276,925 and ranked 15th among the top contributors.

Did Google indeed give $373,212 to the Obama camp? The answer is yes, but the money is not a corporate contribution but is the cumulative contribution from Google employees. Google Corporation did not give a cent and it does not run out of representatives in online forums who are quick to explain this.

Still with Google personnel leaning towards Obama, some concerns were raised about McCain getting shortchanged in Google searches and his general visibility in the Google-led World Wide Web. No this will not happen, one says, Google search algorithms have been well tested for security and reliability and cannot be tweaked by one or two employees. A naughty suggestion comes out to ask the AdWords team to raise the minimum bids for McCain and GOP related keywords, making them less visible in the AdSense feeds.

Not many are really surprised that Google (and Microsoft) employees will lean overwhelmingly towards Barack Obama. These are "highly educated younger people who are smart enough (and "tuned in" enough) to know that voting for McCain is absolutely unreasonable." Most voices in the online communities in fact tend to root for Obama and no further search engine manipulations are needed. Whereas Obama is known to be active posters in online forums and walks around comfortably with his Goldberry gadget, McCain openly admits that he does not know how to use the mouse and the keyboard (as if that is something to be proud of). He also adds that he leaves all his email works to his wife. All these do not speak well of McCain's learning curve on things new and unfamiliar. Too bad for him the world is not perfect (understatement applied), otherwise with his age and experience, McCain would have been the run away winner in the US 2008 election even this early. Even while he whines occasionally that this "young man Obama" has "got everything all wrong", there is not a thankful younger generation who cares to listen.

More than fifty years ago, the irrepressible English philosopher Bertrand Russell warned us to be wary of anyone of who touts his 50 years of experience because he could be talking only of 1 year of experience repeated 50 times. Russell was not one who would go for more of the same. If he were alive today, he would be one with Google and the multitude worldwide who chant in their hearts "Change We Can Believe In." Obama Vs McCain - Issues Comparison
By Brian Garvin

So today let's speak about the Obama Vs McCain Issues Comparison and see who believes in what. Even if you are reading this after you vote, which you probably will be, it never hurts to learn who believes in what. You never know when you'll see them together on another show, perhaps siding with each other in the future.

Obama Vs McCain Issues Comparison - China

Barack Obama has said that he would take China to the cleaners if they start to use their economic power they are gaining in the US against us by altering the value of their currency. John McCain thinks that China and Russia's rapid growth poses a threat to the security of the United States and because of this we should have in place a stronger military.

Obama Vs McCain Issues Comparison - Budget

John McCain's theory is to stop the plethora of Government Overspending and to minimize budget shortages through initiatives that advocate less spending on the parts of the budget that do not affect Social Security, Medicare and other programs. Barack Obama wants to hold all the wealthy and privileged accountable by making it mandatory that they come forward full circle regarding their Pet Projects, meaning the surrendering all available documents regarding this to be made public and under scrutiny. Barack Obama also wants to make Lawmakers accountable for new spending that they decide to do through new money they generate as well as mandatory cuts in other programs to compensate for this.

Obama Vs McCain Issues Comparison - Immigration

Barack Obama is OK with immigrants staying in the United States as long as they meet a bunch of predefined criteria. He believe that they should be responsible for paying any back taxes or possible fines that they have accumulated. He also feels that they should have at least a basic understanding of the English language. In addition, Barack Obama feels like these people should be honest, hard working people and not citizens that break the law and that they'll have to wait their turn. This means anyone that has applied for citizenship before them will go through the process first.

Senator John McCain believes that legal immigrants should carry their own weight and not come over to the United States with the attitude that we owe them anything. His beliefs are that these people should not have access to public services such as food stamps, health care and housing. This would make it almost impossible for someone to move over here and follow these rules unless they had a job lined up or family to help support them.

Barack Obama's Website is Web 2.0 at Its Best
By Carmin Wharton

Regardless of your political affiliation or belief, model your website after Democratic presidential candidate Barack Obama's website and I bet you'll see a significant increase in visitors to your website which cannot help but lead to an increase in clients and sales. Before I share why information to support my claim, let's examine Web 2.0.

What is Web 2.0?

Unless you have been living in a cave for the last year, you have heard of Web 2.0. For those cave dwellers, simply put, Web 2.0 is communication and interactivity between people on the Internet.

How Barack Obama Is Using Web 2.0?

Obama's website and his campaign is Web 2.0 personified. Here's why:

Once you skip the contribution page, the first thing you see is an invitation to send his Vice President pick, Joe Biden, a welcome note!

Then there was the text message sent to millions of people at 3:30 a.m. Eastern Standard Time announcing his Vice-President pick.

The website is rich with video on just about every page.

There is a "Barack TV" section with channels including "Issues," "Your Story," "Barack's Story," "Michelle's Story."

The site is designed to interact with those who are deaf and visitors who speak Spanish.

My favorite: The invitation to send a campaign contribution for as little as $5.00 and be entered into a contest to be 1 of 10 people picked to attend the Democratic National Convention in Denver, at the campaign's expense!

Barack has a blog that is updated on a regular basis.

Other Web 2.0 Components on Barack Obama's Website:

There is a section where Hillary Clinton supporters are asked to join and are welcomed to Obama's campaign! When you click through to the page, a warm notice is posted about Hillary's accomplishments. Visitors are asked to sign up and "share your story." An attractive picture of Hillary Clinton is strategically placed on the page with a video stream of Obama speaking, placed in a noticeable but unobtrusive place on the page.

There is a section where visitors are asked to help fight the smear campaigns that serve to divide people and cast suspicion about who Barack Obama is. To dispel untruths, Barack has even posted a copy of his birth certificate along with pictures of the American flag on his plane and him visiting and interacting with American troops.

Barack Obama's web design integrates every single Web 2.0 component into the website:

Social Networking: The ability to create your very own "my BarackObama" mini-website.

Blogging: Barack Obama has a blog on his website and visitors and supporters can create a blog too.

User-generated content: visitors have the ability to express themselves in many ways. In addition to the ability to congratulatory message for the newly selected Vice Presidential candidate, you can share your own Barack story by uploading a video, etc.

Video: There are videos running concurrently all over this website.

Widgets & Gadgets: These include a resource library, the ability to get involved in a phone bank, the ability to get "action center updates," etc.

Yes, this indeed is one cutting edge, fully Web 2.0 integrated website. My to-do list for today has just changed. I am going to integrate as many Web 2.0 components into my own website. I strongly urge you to do the same!

Barack Obama Is The New President Of United States Of America

People Is Ready For A Change, And That Change Started Today... Barack Obama Is The New President Of United States Of America, Which Make Him The First Black President In The History Of The U.S.!

Fitchburg and Leominster MA Events News.- I'm glad Barack Obama won the elections (2008), we need something different, someone with a different approach to things, because what the last president did clearly didn't work for any of us. The government spent trillion of dollars in fixing another country's administration system, but forgot completely to budget and use some of that cash to keep this country on a successful path.

Many people knew that McCain was just a Bush with a different name and face, thank God he didn't win, I think most of the people that voted for him was from the wealthy class, I said this because Obama is planning of making them pay more taxes than the poor, Robin Hood style, take from the rich not from the poor.... I think that is a very smart approach in economy down times, why taking more money from those that don't have it?

Now we need to give a big brake to Barack Obama before start seeing any changes, we have to remember that he taking charge of a country with an economy crisis (recession), two wars that still need to be deal with, a crashing stock market, high rates of unemployment, a global bad reputation, slow new energy improvements, and global warming issues. Is no way we are going to see fast changes, but I hope he and his team are smart enough come out with a reliable solutions to current recession problems, because if this is fix the other problems can deal easier.

From the news:
""The road ahead will be long. Our climb will be steep," Obama cautioned.

Young and charismatic but with little experience on the national level, Obama smashed through racial barriers and easily defeated Republican John McCain to become the first African-American destined to sit in the Oval Office, America's 44th president. He was the first Democrat to receive more than 50 percent of the popular vote since Jimmy Carter in 1976.

"It's been a long time coming, but tonight, because of what we did on this date in this election at this defining moment, change has come to America," Obama told a victory rally of 125,000 people jammed into Chicago's Grant Park.

Obama scored an Electoral College landslide that redrew America's political map. He won states that reliably voted Republican in presidential elections, like Indiana and Virginia, which hadn't supported the Democratic candidate in 44 years. Ohio and Florida, key to Bush's twin victories, also went for Obama, as did Pennsylvania, which McCain had deemed crucial for his election hopes.

With just 76 days until the inauguration, Obama is expected to move quickly to begin assembling a White House staff and selecting Cabinet nominees.

Campaign officials said Illinois Rep. Rahm Emanuel was the front-runner to be Obama's chief of staff. The advisers spoke on a condition of anonymity because the announcement had not yet been made.

Obama's victory was sweetened by Democratic gains in both houses of Congress. In the Senate, Democrats ousted Republicans Elizabeth Dole of North Carolina and John Sununu of New Hampshire and captured seats held by retiring GOP senators in Virginia, New Mexico and Colorado. Democrats scored big gains in the House, as well.

When Obama and running mate Joe Biden take their oath of office on Jan. 20, Democrats will control both the White House and Congress for the first time since 1994.

"It is not a mandate for a party or ideology but a mandate for change," said Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid of Nevada.

House Speaker Nancy Pelosi of California said: "Tonight the American people have called for a new direction. They have called for change in America."

After the longest and costliest campaign in U.S. history, Obama was propelled to victory by voters dismayed by eight years of George W. Bush's presidency and deeply anxious about rising unemployment and home foreclosures and a battered stock market that has erased trillions of dollars of savings for Americans.

Six in 10 voters picked the economy as the most important issue facing the nation in an Associated Press exit poll. None of the other top issues — energy, Iraq, terrorism and health care — was selected by more than one in 10. Obama has promised to cut taxes for most Americans, get the United States out of Iraq and expand health care, including mandatory coverage for children.

Obama acknowledged that repairing the economy and dealing with problems at home and overseas will not happen quickly. "We may not get there in one year or even in one term," he said. "But, America, I have never been more hopeful than I am tonight that we will get there. I promise you, we as a people will get there.""

Here is a old video where Obama talks about his plan for 2008 and why he decide to become the president of United States of America.

Well, congratulations to Barack Obama and his wife! Looks like America is really ready for a change.
