Ecuador Fines Chevron $8 Billion For Jungle Oil Contamination

Fitchburg And Leominster MA Oil News. - Chevron is in big trouble over at Ecuador a beautiful South American country, that has outstanding forests and mountain views. A judge in this Amazonian country ruled that Chevron was the company responsible for oil contamination in the country's northern jungle and fined it at least $8 billion, plaintiffs' lead, that was what Ecuadorian attorney Pablo Fajardo said.

Chevron said it would appeal to the law sue and called the judge decision "illegitimate and unenforceable" in a news press release.

Some big companies like this think they can do whatever they want, I personally hope they loose, so they have to paid for all the damages their actions has cost Ecuador. Check El Universo for more information about this matter.
