Women's History Month Celebration By The Leominster Public Library

Fitchburg and Leominster MA Parents Business Event News, Presented By The Today Headline News Blog. - Want to celebrate the Women's History Month? Head to the Leominster Public Library and join them for a multimedia presentation exploring the social and cultural impact of the Supremes, the most popular and successful singing group in music history.

The program "Girl Power: The Supremes as Cultural Icons", will be held at 2 PM Sunday, March 27 of 2011, in the library's Community Room, located on 30 West St..

You gonna have the opportunity to join pop culture historian and music journalist Tom Ingrassia as he explores the hug popularity and impact of the Supremes during the 1960s and 1970s, and why their accomplishment are still important today. The program will include audio, video, and lecture format.
