Leominster and Fitchburg MA News. - Last week Jimmy Hayes scored six minutes into overtime to give Boston College a 7-6 victory against Northeastern when they play for the championship of the Beanpot college hockey competition last Monday February 14th 2011.
Chris Kreider which is the current MVP scored twice and helped on the winner for the defending competition and NCAA champions.
You have to remember that Boston College had not won consecutive Beanpots since taking the competition from 1963 to 1965. That's a long time, is good to see the college come back!
