Do Kids Want Parents On Facebook? [Poll Results]

Leominster and Fitchburg MA Daily News. - Many will think kids will answer with a big "NO!" to that question, but the poll results showed that teenagers are OK with letting their parents be on Facebook, but with a condition: Parents aren't allowed to friend their kids!... Like that is going to happen.

Sorry kids, parents are getting very active on Facebook, not just to spy on you, also to communicate with friends and family members and to connect with like minded people. Yes, you can unfriend your dad and mom, but that might cost you access to the Internet at home, and even your personal computer, your ipod, your ipad, and your smart phone. Well, at least you can keep your Amazon kindle :o)

Here is the poll results that ask children in their teens "Should Parents Be On Facebook?":

    * Yes, only if they don't friend their own kids. - 42% - with 29,069 votes.

    * Why not? Parents are, social, people too. - 15% - with 9,956 votes.

    * Never! Parents are what destroy Myspace/LiveJournal/Friendster! - 15% - with 10,264 votes.

    * I don't care! Parents or no parents, I got nothing to hide. - 20% - with 13,475 votes.

    * Yes, because I'm can prove my step-dad is sleeping with one of my friends. - 7% - with 4,713 votes.

    * Other - 1% - with 964 votes.
