February 2012 Adolescent Drug Awareness Event At The Leominster High School


Fitchburg and Leominster MA Daily Events News, Presented By At-Home Drug Withdrawal Program. - You are invited to attend the 'Get Smart - Take Action - Adolescent Drug Awareness Event' which is going to be held at the Leominster High School's auditorium on February 8th, 2012.

The event is going to be divided in three parts, the first one starting at 6:00 to 6:30 P.M., for information, vendors, and resources. The second part will start a 6:30 - 7:45 P.M., which is the time when the guest speakers will discuss alcohol, social host liability, nicotine products, trends and drug use, plus symptoms and  much more...

Here is a list of some of the guest speaker:
  • Jennifer Flanagan, State Senator.
  • Sheriff Lewis G. Evangelids, Worcester County.
  • Jose Rivera, Health Communities.
  • Julie Lesure, Assistant DA.
  • Joan Hamlet, Board of Health.

The the third and last part will also be giving for information, vendors, and to access more resources.

Everyone is welcome to take part of this educational event that can help you get the tools and knowledge to help young adults to make better decisions in life and stay away from drugs.

Bring your kids: Activities will be provided for children while parents attend guest speaker session.

This event is sponsor by The Leominster Public Schools Health Department, Title One, and The Language Acquisition Department.
