People joined the pop cultural historian and music journalist Tom Ingrassia as he explored the immense popularity and impact of the the group in the 1960s and 1970s, and why their accomplishments are still important today. Fitchburg MA and Leominster MADaily Events.- The Art Museum located on Merriam Parkway will host special art workshops for kids of ages 6 and up. I think this is a great way to keep your kids busy with something productive and fun at the same time.

Morning sessions are from 9 a.m. to noon and afternoon sessions are from 1 to 4 p.m. The cost is $75 for half-day, $145 for a full-day session. Workshops include "Animal Safari" for ages 6 through 8, "So You Want to be a Painter" for ages 9 and up, "Mischievous Mice Hoe Down - Theater Arts in Motion" for ages 6 to 12, "Earth Day Extravaganza" for ages 6 to 8, and a "Japanese Animation Class" for ages 9 and up.
