Keigwin & Co. 8:00 PM-10:00 PM - $22/general; $20/faculty, staff, seniors; $7 students "the show displayed something more: his craftsmanship and his ability to repeat, develop, and transform material into dances that are smart, pithy, and peculiar." - THE VILLAGE VOICE
Using an incredible sense of wit, the work of Larry Keigwin is an attempt to both tease and investigate our identity in the context of contemporary pop culture. Although story drives the direction of his dances, the movement used is more than literal by being infused with theatrical nuance and the inherent abstraction of metaphor. He has enjoyed performing with many companies as well as choreographing and dancing for Broadway, Off-Broadway and burlesque showcases. The cumulative effect of these varied influences is a movement style that is at once dynamic and subtle. The Mattress Suite, Urban Birds, and Natural Selections are audience favorites.
