LEOMINSTER DAILY NEWS: A brand new way to watch TV

By The Twin Cities Daily News Blog

Fitchburg & Leominster Mass News.- In the coming years as analog TV is phased-out in favor of all Digital TV, Internet Protocol Television-IPTV will become major competition for cable, Satellite and broadcast TV. And now is here in Massachusetts, an IP Television service that will make your cable and satellite tv as a joke...

It's true, now you can sign up for the first and better IPTV service where you can watch up to 7,000 channels. Yeah, your eyes are OK, I said 7,000 digital Internet TV channels right on your TV. I now you like your cable on demand movie feature. Butt, Like we told you before Comcast cable is the most expensive way to watch TV, we recomemd Satellite TV over any cable offerings, because is cheaper, better, and you get more for less...

But now you got another choice thanks to Luis Galarza a local business owner to make possible for the first IPTV provider "AKIMBO" to offer their services in Fitchburg, Leominster, Lancaster, Lunenburg, Clinton, Ayer, Shirley, Worcester, Webster, Malboro, Boston Mass, and other Massachusetts cities. Akimbo offers Internet TV services for less than cable and satellite, with a programming of 7,000 channels. They have a great offer right now, you can get your IPTV set box for less than $70 (real price is over $250.00), but this promotion is only till March 30, 2006. So, you better be quick and go get it at www.akimbo.co.nr.

NORTH CENTRAL MASS: Dog kill a kid in Lunenburg Mass

By The Twin Cities Daily News Blog

North Central Mass News.- LUNENBURG -- The irresponsability of a dog owner gets a 7 years old boy kill. The bullmastiff dog attacked and killed a Lunenburg boy Saturday afternoon when he was playing into a neighboring yard. I mean come on, I don't think that was the first time that kid played on this persones yard.

The name of the boy or the owners dog remains unknown. Lunenburg Superintendent of Schools Loxi Jo Calmes said the boy was an excellent student at the Lunenburg Primary School.

The deadly bull mastiff was euthanized Saturday by the local Animal Control Officers. Police responded to a report of a kid attacked by a dog at 59 Easter Brook Road at about 12:38 p.m.

The boy was pronounced dead by UMass Medical Center in Worcester physicians by 1:33 p.m., police said.

Town officials held a brief press conference at 4 p.m. Saturday.

"The town is in shock," Chief Administrative and Financial Officer Dan Keyes read from a prepared statement. "His untimely death has rippled through the community."

Most neighbors lights were out, and many could be seen walking between each other's houses over their back yards and avoiding reporters on the street.

One man who spoke briefly, but did not give his name, only said that the boy loved playing soccer.

"We want to extend our condolences to the family of this young student,"

The Worcester County District Attorney's Office is investigating the death, Police said, and referred further questions there.

Police said that it is not a criminal investigation. We hope they find out what really happen that day...

Keigwin & Co. 8:00 PM-10:00 PM - $22/general; $20/faculty, staff, seniors; $7 students "the show displayed something more: his craftsmanship and his ability to repeat, develop, and transform material into dances that are smart, pithy, and peculiar." - THE VILLAGE VOICE

Using an incredible sense of wit, the work of Larry Keigwin is an attempt to both tease and investigate our identity in the context of contemporary pop culture. Although story drives the direction of his dances, the movement used is more than literal by being infused with theatrical nuance and the inherent abstraction of metaphor. He has enjoyed performing with many companies as well as choreographing and dancing for Broadway, Off-Broadway and burlesque showcases. The cumulative effect of these varied influences is a movement style that is at once dynamic and subtle. The Mattress Suite, Urban Birds, and Natural Selections are audience favorites.

Jodi Picoult: "The Facts behind Fiction" New England Writers Series 7:30 PM-9:00 PM - Tickets: $10/general public; $5/FSC students (at the door) Jodi Picoult's novels are based on extensive research. Her evening's talk will bring glimpses of some of her "research adventures" she's encountered while getting her fiction accurate. Picoult's novels center on family, relationships, and the balance of love. The New York Times bestselling author has written twelve novels. She graduated from Princeton and Harvard, and received the 2003 New England Bookseller Award for Fiction. Of her work, The Boston Globe says, "Picoult writes with a fine touch, a sharp eye for detail, and a firm grasp of the delicacy and complexity of human relationships."
You can't exist in this world without leaving a piece of yourself behind. There are concrete paths, like credit card receipts and appointment calendars and promises you've made to others. There are microscopic clues, like fingerprints, that stay invisible unless you know how to look for them. But even in the absence of any of this, there's scent. We live in a cloud that moves with us as we check e-mail and jog and make love and carpool. The whole time, we shed skin - 40,000 cells per minute, on rafts that rise on a current up our legs and under our chins. In the air or on the ground, bacteria attack, creating vapor trails. -excerpt from Vanishing Acts
