The Southeast staff and P.T.O. are sponsoring their annual Spaghetti Supper on Thursday, April 12th. 2012 from 5:00pm to 7:00pm. Please join the school staff for an evening of family enjoyment.

Ticket prices are: $5.00 for adults and $3.00 for seniors and students.

The school is also looking for volunteers before and after the supper. Please fill out the form that was send with your child and have it return with your child to be part of this great event!...

2011 Kindergarten Registration For Leominster Public Schools

Kindergarten registration will be on Saturday, April 9th 2011 from 8:30 am to 1:00 pm at the Northwest  Elementary School located on 45 Stearns Ave..

Your child must be 5 years old on or before August 31, 2011 to be accepted on kindergarten this year.

Please Bring:

• Birth certificate.
• Record of immunization and lead screening.
• Copy of physical exam dated after September 2010 or date of upcoming doctor's appointment.
• Proof of residence: Utility bill (gas, electric, telephone, cable).

February 2011 Priest Street School's Principal Message To Parents

Fitchburg And Leominster MA Daily News. - As we approach the 100th day of school, it is a great opportunity to take stock in each child's development and thoughtfully consider their progress. This is traditionally denoted by report cards at the kindergarten level and progress reports at the preschool level.

The school principal as to please become familiar with your child's strengths and needs. It is a powerful chance to demonstrate your investment in their education and stress the importance of their best effort. Nothing makes a impact on a child like a caring and interested adult.

In the coming weeks, Priest Street school staff will continue meeting with every teacher to review needs of the students in their classroom. For this reason principal Reilly said to please feel empowered to share your own thoughts, observations, and concerns as well. Reilly thanks everyone for continued cooperation and constant support.

Priest Street School's Polar Plunge

Fitchburg and Leominster MA News. - On Thursday February 17th Priest Street school students will be engaged in many fun - filled science events that will expose them to many great facts about the North and South Pole. This is called the Polar Plunge!

The school is looking for many volunteers to make this day a successful one.

Their Polar events will be running from approximately 9:20am - 12:30pm. All volunteers will be asked to arrive by 9:00am to find the location of their station. All activities will have all the necessary materials needed for all students.

Also they ask to please remember this event is for Priest Street students only. Siblings will not be allowed to attend.

Since this event will be occurring up until lunch time, all classes will be having lunch in their classrooms. A bagged lunch will be provided for students who choose to purchase lunch at school. The lunch option will be:

• Sun butter and jelly sandwich with fruit, carrots and dip.

For those classes that do have a peanut allergy, we do ask for lunches to be peanut free since there will be no allergy table on this day.

All students when home with the for parents need to fill up to let the school know if they are going to volunteer or not and if their kids are going to purchase lunch or bring lunch from home. All forms must be return to the teachers by Wednesday February 9th 2011.

Head Start Kindergarden School By The MOC Calendar of Events

Fitchburg And Leominster MA News. - The Head Start kinder garden school program in Leominster Mass. by the MOC center have three events they want you to know about:

On January 13th was a parent meeting from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm to discuss the class program and some other issues.

On Monday January 17th 2011 will be no school for them and for any other educational institute because is Martin Luthern King Day.

On Thursday 27th will be no school. Head Start will discuss program planning.


If your kids go to this institute you will also receive a flyer from the MOC reminding you about all this events.
