The First Snow Storm of 2011 for The Twin Cities Just Started

Leominster and Fitchburg MA News. - Snow is coming down as I write this quick article. Yes, the first Snow storm of 2011 and this new decade just started. The good news are that this time are two beautiful cities moved a little bit faster and had salt and sand on the street hours before the our cold white friend come to visit us. This is a miracle compare on how they did on the last storm of 2010, when they didn't move until it was piles of snow all over the roads.

Even Fitchburg got smarter and have the streets set and ready.

As everyone knows, if the continue snowing and reach over 5 inches, will be no school in neither of the Twin Cities. But, make sure to check your local channel, radio, and the web to make sure.

Also many local businesses and city offices would be closed on this Wednesday January 12th. So, call work before you go out driving under this weather just to know that the company you work for is closed.

Looks like delivery based food shops and restaurants might be open, just call to avoid driving in bane.

Stay safe and warm,

Leominster MA: Health Insurance Deadline

The Twin Cities Mass Daily News Blog For The City Of Leominster and Fitchburg MA, also check Leominster MA Real Estate

Do You Think That Pushing The New Health Insurance Massachusetts Law Is Going Against Are Freedom To Decide!

Fitchburg MA and Leominster MA Daily News.- Massachusetts is doing doing this to make more money, insurance companies are happy because they will also make more money. They said they will have a lot of new affordable options for everyone, and that is just ta BIG Lie!

Now they push the deadline to July 1st, 2007, to make everyone run and get health insurance from hell is if possible...

Here is the results of a search at the www.mahealthconnector.org that is supposed to help residents find cheap health insurance for their families or themselves, this results were found by the Leominster Champ newspaper:

"BRONZE, NO PRESCRIPTION COVERAGE

Fallon Community Health Plan $25 per doctor visit $100 per emergency room visit

$2,000/$4,000 deductible

$570 per month

BRONZE

Tufts Health Plan $35 per doctor visit $200 per emergency room visit $20-$75 per prescription $2,000/$4,000 deductible $689.23 per month

SILVER

Fallon Community Health Plan $20 per doctor visit $100 per emergency room visit $10-$50 per prescription

$500/$1,000 deductible

$890 per month

GOLD

Blue Cross Blue Shield of Massachusetts $10 per doctor visit $50 per emergency room visit $10-$45 per prescription No deductible $1,533.36 per month"

OK, so how in hell someone that is working as a temp for a factory (remember there are a lot of people in this condition) is going to afford this "inexpensive" health plans... even the $500 plan still a lot of money for many local Leominster, Fitchburg, Worcester, and other neighbor towns residents.

Is Fitchburg planning to help by cutting their electricity rates up to 60% so at least they can charge a average rate not even the lowest rate on the nation... Fitchburg MA electricity is just like another rent, and now with this new bill added to the list of poor local residents.

What all this is going to do? Race the crime level on all local Massachusetts cities. Some people are going to do anything to survive....

Massachusetts: Father's Day Gift Ideas

The Twin Cities Mass Daily News Blog For The City Of Leominster and Fitchburg MA, also check Leominster MA Real Estate

So What Can you Give Your Dad This Father's Day That Will Be Cool But Cheap!

Fitchburg MA and Leominster MA Daily News.- We did the walk around the local shopping malls and plazas for you and we also when online to see where those deals are hiding from you this Father's Day, and we found a ton of gift ideas that can help you cheer up your dad.

Gift ideas and where to find the best deals on those gifts.
1.- Well as you know BestBuy is now open and ready to do business, but how cares if they don't have the right gifts for your dad... If you go to BestBuy computer department pronto you will be able to find desktop computers as low as $210 (monitor is separate), and laptop computers from $450. But, you will need to hurry if you want to buy any of those items as gift for your father.

2.- If you are looking for movies the top local stores with the best movie deals are; Target (in the Leominster area), Circuit City (also in Leominster), and Walmart in Lunenburg MA. Don't go to BestBuy for movies some of their deals are more money than any of the other stores... check Target first, their deals are one of the best in Town.

3.- Another great father's day gift is fragrances. There a few new designers brand out and most of those are excellent choices the important thing is where to get a good deal on them. We recommend 3 places: Macy's at the mall, Khols by Target, and is another small store inside the Leominster Mall in front of the McDonals restaurant that has the best prices, even better than Walmart. We recommend these 3 places just because you can test the smell before you buy, without waiting for any help.

The small store inside the mall has the best prices, but sometimes Macy's and Khols have good Father's Day deals which give you a free gift with the purchase of some items or a fragrance package. Also check this online mall to get cash back from purchases.

4.- Cell phones now are more than just a luxury, this little wireless phones are become a necessary for almost everyone. So, if you plan to get a cell phone as gift for your dad here are some of the best places to go do your shopping:

Radio Shack, we found that they can give you special deals like in instant rebates which is pretty good for those who don't want to wait for it.

The Verizon store next to Chilli's and Target is another good place to shop if you like Verizon just because they have a in-house repair center which means better service.

Circuit City has good knowledgeable people too, and they may give you a store gift card depending on the cell phone you buy.

One problem is that all of the other stores had the same prices, and deals... But, we were looking for a better deal, and we found it, but this store is online. Yeap, Cogni360 And Associates have the best deals in town but only if you are willing to wait for your cell phone to be deliver to your house, the shipping is free and most cell phones are free, too. This company is a local Leominster MA business, and now they have all their operations 100% online.

Also you can check our new Leominster MA Mall website for discount father's day gifts from top online web stores.

NEWS: Massachusetts Health Insurance Law

The Twin Cities Mass Daily News Blog For The City Of Leominster and Fitchburg MA, also check Leominster MA Real Estate

Dear Leominster, Fitchburg, Worcester, Boston, And All Massachusetts Taxpayers, You Need To Have Health Insurance Is The Law!

Fitchburg MA and Leominster MA Daily News.- Yes, you heard right starting on the beginning of July 1, 2007, a new Massachusetts law will force all residents age 18 and over to have health insurance, it doesn't matter if you think that you don't need it.

There are a few exceptions to the rule, but other than that all adults need to be able to demonstrate that they have health insurance by December 31, 2007. And if you fail to prove it will lose the "tax benefit" of their personal exemption on their 2007 Massachusetts income tax return, which will be worth $219 for a person.

They also said that plans to increase the penalties will increase for 2008!

The majority of adults already have a health insurance plan, maybe through their jobs or a government program. But, if you do not have health insurance you need to hurry a get it right away to avoid paying any state penalties. One good source is The Health Connector of Massachusetts, their you can get information about their health insurance plans or of any other carriers approved by the state. Just visit MAhealthconnector.org

We will posting other Massachusetts health insurance resources on the weekend.
