Fitchburg And Leominster MA News. - This is a WARNING notice for all our local residents, as you already know we have another big snow with ice storm and even a little bit of frozen rain which made the whole thing a lot worst. The rain and ice created a ice trap below the snow making the roads and sidewalks very, very slippery. So, be very careful when driving and walking around.
Also as you know all school activities in New England has been cancel until tomorrow.
TOMORROW NOTICE: You need to be advice that we might have low temperatures on Wednesday January 19th. This can create very icy roads, and make it difficult for our streets to be clean for regular school activities.
Be safe, and let us know of any activities, news, or events on our cities.

News Warning: Streets Flooded By Heavy Rainstorm In Our 2 Cities

Drive Carefully, Many Streets Are Flooded After Heavy Rainstorm Hit The Twin Cities!
Fitchburg and Leominster MA News.- Yes our two cites were hit very hard by a long lasting rain that started on Friday, March 12 and ended on Monday March 15 2010... This is not the first time we get hit by a bad storm, and is not the first time our streets are flooded. The concern from local resident is that our authorities don't learn and are not ready to face natural problems like a long rain.
I think the authorities of the cities Leominster and Fitchburg need to learn from pass mistakes, and have the towns ready for any type of natural disasters like the really bad ice storm in 2007 that let Massachusetts in the dark, some places for only hours, others for more than a month.
Don't tell me that if something like that happen again, people are going to experience the same problems from before? When are we going to learn?
Dangerous!
I need to warn you of three type of danger during and after the rainstorm:
Just try to make sure you drive carefully, and have some extra things to help you be save if your car gets damage or brakes down in the middle of the road. Things like:
Hope next time we avoid having a flood, but for now let's try to be safe!....

- The first one is the really flooded streets that can have your car stock in the middle of a mini river.
- Hiding potholes that can not be seeing under all that water.
- Street barricades without a warning light of something, next time the city need to make adjustments and put lights or something that will become bright when the car lights go on them.
Just try to make sure you drive carefully, and have some extra things to help you be save if your car gets damage or brakes down in the middle of the road. Things like:
- Extra spare tires.
- Flash lights.
- Cellphone.
- Road cones with lights.
- Rain coat.
- Rain boots.
- Tool box.
Hope next time we avoid having a flood, but for now let's try to be safe!....
